7 On the back of the piece, use chain nose pliers to angle the wire at the gap backward.

8 Cut 31⁄4″ (8.3cm) of 22 gauge wire. Make a wrapped loop at the end of the wire (see Wrapped Loops on page 20). String a 6mm bead, then a 10mm bead onto the wire. Hammer the wire end, then curl it over the 10mm bead and fasten with a tight loop between the beads (see Hammering on page 18). Attach a 3⁄8″ (1cm) jump ring to the top of the drop.

9 Attach the jump ring on the bead drop to the loop on the back of the pendant.
